With streaming as common as it is today, you can easily watch all of your old favorites. From Mr. Wizards World to MacGyver to Knight Rider, all of my faves from the 80s are just a click and maybe two bucks away.Seriously, a Coke from the vending machine at work is $1.50, so I wont sweat paying $1.99 to watch a favorite show from my childhood.
My son Ian is crazy about anything with an engine in it. Since I have fond memories of the Dukes when I was a kid and played with my General Lee Matchbox car in the sandbox, I thought it was time to introduce Ian to this and see what he thought of it.
I mean, whats not to like about a couple of guys sliding across a car hood and climbing through the windows? Whats not to like about awesome CGI-free car jumping in almost every episode? I knew this tire-smoking show would get my sons gears turning. And really, even COMMERCIALS on TV today arent kid-friendly.
TV of 2013 pretty much bites if youre a kid.
Well, after one viewing he loved it. Weve watched two episodes so far. There was gratuitous car jumping and tire spinning in both shows. I loved watching it as much as (probably more than) he did. We were about 3/4 of the way through the first show and he goes and grabs one of his toy trucks and starts racing it around on the floor with one hand -- the other hand is maneuvering another truck that was a police car in hot pursuit.
Awesome. :-)
So, I cant get enough of it now, and I wanted to add the theme song to my Google Play library. Well, there are lots of options and some of them bad. First off, youll probably encounter this one, plunk down $1.29 and think youre done:
Hm. Well Im a little disappointed but I wasnt about to give up that easily. I came across this one:
Oh my word. This sucked. What youve got here is the entire cast of the show singing their interpretation of the opening theme. Weve got the music fading into the background while J.D. Hogg makes a little commentary. This was enough for me. I pressed stop and actually DELETED the song from my music collection, thereby blowing $1.29 out the window.
Now, I guess I should have previewed the song first, but I was on my phone and it wasnt really convenient. Later on, from my laptop, I did some more investigation. I found this version on the same album. Now with my laptop, I previewed the song a few times. It was exactly the same as the one from the Ultimate Waylon Jennings collection!Hm. Time to dig a little further. Can you believe that Wikipedia actually has an entry for this song? Yep. Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol Boys)
The article explains pretty clearly what Id discovered:
As the narrator for the 1975 movie, Moonrunners, Jennings was tapped to serve in the same capacity for The Dukes of Hazzard which premiered on CBS in 1979 and was based on Moonrunners. Jennings wrote the theme song for the show and recorded two versions: the television theme version and a slightly different version made commercially available on both single and album which received radio airplay.[1]
The television show version features a banjo which the commercially available version does not. Additionally, the TV versions third verse contains the lyric, "Fightin the system like two modern-day Robin Hoods", which is accompanied by a "Yee-haw!" said by characters, Bo Duke (John Schneider) and Luke Duke (Tom Wopat), though it is in fact Schneiders vocal used twice.
The article also says:
Most of Jennings greatest hits albums and various compilation releases containing the "Theme From The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol Boys)" feature the commercially available version.
Well, I see the word "Most" there so that means Ive got to find the real version. The banjo version. The version with the Robin Hood mention. Id even appreciate the yee-haw at the end but I wont get too picky.
Google Play has live versions, karaoke versions, instrumental versions, covers, you name it. I previewed many and didnt find the original. Ive got to have the original.
Without stretching this on much longer, I found it. Amazon has it. At $0.89 it didnt pass the popularity test. It failed the album cover test miserably. Theres no mention of Waylon. But trust me, this is the original TV version. The banjo is there. The lyrics are there. Its all there. (Bummer, we dont get to hear Schneiders yee-haw).

Pengertian Term of Services (ToS). Emang, Pengertian Term of Services (ToS) ini apaan yah? Hehehehehe... Oya, sebelumnya maaf ya kakak-kakak sekalian. Saya baru bisa buat artikel baru diakarenakan kurang inspirasi dan banyak tugas sekolah (anda :¨alah, gak nanya¨). Hehehehehe... Ehem, pasti anda pernah dengar kata Term of Services ini. Mungkin, kakak-kakak sekalian yang sudah berpengalaman dalam berdaftar account-account internet sudah mengetahuinya. Tapi, bagi anda yang belum tahu akan saya beritahu pada artikel saya kali ini.. Hehehehe.... Okeh, tanpa basa-basi lagi silahkan membaca artikel saya mengenai Pengertian Term of Services (ToS) :D
Term of Services (ToS), adalah aturan-aturan yang disediakan oleh suatu program atau services sebuah layanan atau perusahaan untuk menggunakan layanan yang disediakan. Lalu, untukdapat menggunakan suatu layanan yang disediakan, anda harus menaati/mematuhi peraturan-peraturan yang telah disediakan.

Jadi, gini loh. Misalnya anda ingin membuat sebuah account e-mail di Google atau biasa dibilang account Gmail. Pasti pada saat akan membuatnya anda harus menyutujui aturan-aturan yang harus dipatuhi (Term of Services) untuk dapat membuat sebuah account Google. Jika anda tidak ingin mematuhi aturan-aturan yang telah disediakan oleh pihak Google, anda tidak akan mendapatkan layanan yang akan diberikan oleh Google.
Term of Services ini biasa terdapat pada layanan-layanan yang telah disediakan oleh sebuah perusahaan atau korporasi atau bisa juga untuk bisa membuat sebuah account sebuah layanan. Tapi, anda harus berhati-hati dalam menyetujui Term of Services pada sebuah layanan. Bisa-bisa anda terjebak dalam peraturan yang bisa merugikan anda. Karena tidak semua layanan ada yang gratis dan tidak semua layanan berbuat baik terhadap pelanggannya.
Hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan pada sebuah Term of Services adalah sebagai berikut :
- Bacalah Term of Services yang Telah Disediakan
Jika anda ingin mendapatkan sebuah account internet, jangan asal menerima dan menyetujui Term of Services yang disediakan oleh sebuah layanan internet. Bisa-bisa anda yang dirugikan nantinya. Tidak semua layanan internet itu berbuat baik kepada pelanggannya. Bisa jadi uang anda ludes karena peraturan yang telah anda setujui. Jadi, bacalah dulu baik-baik Term of Services yang telah disediakan.
- Harus Ambil Keputusan
Nah, jika anda sudah yakin terhadap suatu Term of Services yang telah disediakan oleh sebuah layanan, anda bisa menyutujuinya. Tapi, jika anda masih merasa ragu pada sebuah Term of Services, ada baiknya anda tidak menyutujuinya. Daripada anda akan menyesal nantinya. Atau jika ragu, anda bisa mencari referensi terhadap layanan yang diberikan sebuah layanan internet di Mbah Google. Hehehehehe...
- Jika Setuju, Patuhi Aturannya
Anda sudah baca dan pikir dalam-dalam sebuah Term of Services. Lalu anda menyetujuinya. Nah, jika anda sudah menyetujui sebuah Term of Services, silahkan anda nikmati layanan yang diberikan. Tapi, anda juga harus mematuhi Term of Services yang telah anda seujui. Ada hak, ada kewajiban. Jika anda melanggar aturan-aturan pada Term of Services yang telah anda setujui, maka bisa-bisa anda tidak dapat lagi menggunakan layanan yang diberikan. Sebut saja Google AdSense. Jika anda melanggar Term of Services-nya, maka account anda akan dihapus dan anda tidak akan lagi mendapatkan uang dari Pihak Google. Jadi, patuhilah sebuah Term of Services jika anda tidak ingin kehilangan sebuah layanan yang ingin anda nikmati.

As earlier posted tip post for the same wasnt working properly and giving an error showing "Cant run the apps due to security reason".
Well I am back with a new fixed tutorial for the same.
Here we go.
Now I will explain how this works..
*Apps not installed in C drive but in E or F have their reference exe files which is called hash files in C:syshash ..
Data in C:sysinstallsisregistry works like normal windows registry that refers to apps installed and will help you to uninstall them normally if you put these registry files in your UDA and flash with it. I asked to remove apps installed in C drive first as if you dont, you will get them in your application manager and since they are not there.. there is no use of them in there.
This trick works for me perfectly and it will work for you too for sure..

P.S. - You can use Nokia Cooker by Il.Socio to update your UDA file. Get it from here.

- * Copy and paste and overwrite the data of C:sys in in C:syshash and remove all those files.. That means you need to delete the files from C:syshash which are already exist in C:sys in.
- Once you done that, copy all that C:sys data in your UDA and flash with it.
Now I will explain how this works..
