Hey friends..

Delights next version is almost complete. Final testing is going on.., although only English version is ready right now and I will send the finished files to freaxs_r_us for translations but it will take time..

In the meantime I will update the Change log section as well as post a Sneak Preview of next upcoming version..

As most of you already know that I dont have any N8 with me anymore.., Hell I dont have any descent phone with me anymore.. except my old 3rd edition phone.. and because of that I already told you guys that v5.0 could be the last cfw of Delight series for N8.. Yet I published v5.1 and then v5.2 later to fix up few issues.

Because I promised to few die hard fans of Delight custom firmwares that I will try my best to release future updates time by time for their N8s so that they will get the best out there, yet I hope you understand it isnt easy to do without having a phone in your hand to make a cfw..

I know Taylor has again leaked a new firmware for N8 but its not in untouched form but he released it in modded form ... thus its a mess to first fix up that firmware and then work on it to make it the best .. specially when you dont have any N8 to test it further..

I am not completely giving up N8 yet as I know many of you love Delight the most and because of that I will surely release an update., however I dont have any specific date for that..

Many guys asked me the same through different platforms and I am giving them the same answer that as soon as Taylor release untouched files or when there will be an official release, I will start working on my next update for N8...

I hope you guys understand and could wait for the best as waiting is always sweet and Delightful.. ;)

Hey friends,

Few of you reported some bugs in translated versions of Delights last update as well as some in English version like missing My Location and Places widget, well that was strange to me as the last time I flashed, these both widgets were there.

Anyways I checked the rofs2 again and surprisingly the needed files were not there, strange for me as I very well remember that I put these files in there.. Anyways, its been sorted out and most of the bugs should be fixed now though there werent any bugs in English version as nothing been reported except these two missing widgets and they have been added now in next version.

Now what about next version, well next version will be much improved with few more goodies and extra features.

I am currently working on it at the moment and everything seems to be fine right now so hopefully it will be released soon too but dont expect it too soon as its festival season here in India..

Good news is that next update is ready, however I have just finished it now, I wont release it right away. It will be under observation for some time for any bugs and all. I couldnt done completely what I was trying to do but only 80 percent work has been done and notification APIs yet cant be transferred to Core except everything..

Thus you still have to flash with a UDA having Notifications APIs to make your push notifications apps like Nokia Drop.. I will keep working on it and hopefully my next version will have that sorted out yet I cant promise that as I am too much stressed out in my personal stuff right now.

For the time being I am posting the change log in change log section and will soon release my next update.

P.S. You need to keep in mind while reading Change logs that there was nothing special while making this update except a new leak by Taylor thus there wont be too much thrilling changes yet I tried my best to make it the best.

Hey friends..

I noticed few glitches in v5.0 which have been fixed and improved, added few RAM and performance related tweaks and new email application with a new widget support. Other minor changes will soon be added to Change log.

It will still take about couple of days to publish this version though so stay tune .. Hopefully this wont be the last version for N8 users.

After this release I will be working on a C7 port of Delight Custom Firmwares to C7 users. More info will be published later about that..

In case you are wondering where am I or whats the status of next update, well this post is answering those questions.

I am here only as you can see ;) and working hard on next update. Its almost complete but as I got few more requests so that users can change widgets mif as per their taste and thats why I am trying to put most widgets new or old to C so you can easily change their mif images. All new widgets have been placed in C along with couple of old ones.
Some are still in CORE so for that you have to edit rofs2 manually as explained in my FAQs.

Next update will be v4.1 as its mostly bug fixed version yet greatly improved. Itll be based on Necy (Allnokia) CORE in which NFC has been removed and several other CORE related stuff tweaks to make it perfect.

Along with change in CORE, I have made several other changes which will later be available in Change Log section which I will update soon as soon as I am finished up with the final release.

Along with that and before the final release available, there will be a sneak preview as earlier so you would know how its look like.

I tried to put Anna Video player ported by kalininvs (Allnokia) and its pretty good.. Captured videos are also shown in this video player and of course codec support will be like Anna as I heard they have been reduced in Belle from some sources. Although its still not perfect in playing flv files.

But I still would want to know what you guys think about adding it to next version as I would still put this on the basis of users choice..

Just to inform you that next update is almost ready .. Completed most of it, unfortunately I will be busy for this weekend,.. enjoying with my friends ;) so the release will take some extra time.

I am expecting it to be completed before next weekend.. I may release it before then .. but if not, then it will surely be released between 20th Feb - 26th Feb.. as I would like to keep it under observation for some time too after I will finish it..

Of course before that may be on Monday or Tuesday, I will post a sneak preview like I did earlier just for your delight :P

Well visited Nokia Center today and as I expected flashing there also didnt solve the problem so they asked me to submit the handset there and asked me to visit after 4-5 days.. Thats frustrating and very upsetting.

Anyways, thats needed to be done so now I am without my N8 and I cant upload any sneaks or something for next few days till I get my N8 back..
